Played by four people; two gals and two guys. The Dating Game is based on the ABC television program that aired from 1965 to 1986. On the TV version typically a bachelorette would questions three bachelors, who are hidden from her view. She would ask questions of each of the three contestants. Then when the questioning period is done. The bachelorette would choose one to accompany her on a date all expenses paid by the show. The prize is being on a chaperoned date This game is loosely based on the TV show. Four players, two males and two females play the game. Players travel around the game board according the roll of the dice and follow directions upon landing on a space. To win the game a player must complete all the requirements to win the game. Game Contents Game Board GAME WAS MISSING THE ORIGINAL PAWNS AND DICE, so I substituted 4 Plastic Pawns & 2 Dice Pad of Guys Appointment Cards Pad of Gals Appointment Cards 26 Blue Questions Cards and 2 Blank Blue Cards 33 Orange Answer Cards and 1 Blank Orange Card Hasbro Play Money Instruction Sheet Condition Notes: Game Box shows A LOT OF WEAR WITH USE AND AGE. BOX TOP HAS SEVERAL SURFACE SCRATCHES, CREASING, SMALL TEARS, BLEMISHES, AND TWO SPLIT CORNERS. BOX BOTTOM HAS TWO SPLIT CORNERS. Box Insert has BLEMISHES, CREASING, AND DISCOLORED FROM AGE. Game Board SHOWS WEAR/TEAR ALONG THE CREASING/FOLD AREA OF BOARD. PLUS BOARD HAS SCRATCHES, BLEMISHES, AND A FEW TEARS/RIPS . Cards ARE VERY WORN AND HAVE A TON OF CREASING, BLEMISHES AND SOME CORNERS ARE TORN/RIPPED. Appointment cards are in decent shape. AGAIN MISSING ORIGINAL PAWNS & DICE so I have SUBSTITUTED PAWNS & DICE TO THE GAME. Instructions SHOW WEAR AND TEARS, PLUS IS DISCOLORED FROM AGE. NOTE: THIS GAME HAS SEEN A LOT OF PLAY.
